Business Breakfast: Wicked Issues & Top Tips (7 November 07:30am)

Are there matters in your business which keep you awake at night? Are there some problems that a Google search just can’t solve? Do you ever feel like you have nobody to answer your questions when you have a simple query?

Then the annual NFBP Wicked Issues event is for you. So whether you’re having issue with being paid on time, want to know where to focus your advertising or just want to attract new customers; bring your “wicked issues” to the table.

The idea behind this breakfast networking event is for businesses to come and explain their barriers to growth; the difficulties faced in the everyday running of their business and to ask questions they’ve not been able to find the answers to elsewhere. This structured, facilitated event will allow you to learn from others’ experiences and knowledge in a relaxed, informal atmosphere. There’s certainly no such thing as a stupid question!

The event also helps us to identify common themes amongst these barriers which consequently assist in shaping the NFBP events calendar for the year ahead. For example at last year’s event, business concerns included cyber security and winning public tenders, both of which have appeared in our programme. So even if your barrier cannot be fixed then and there, we can take it away to provide help further down the line.

The other way in which matters feedback is through New Forest District Council, Hampshire County Council and the National Park Authority, all of whom sit on the NFBP Board. Through our partnership working we can work to address these issues where appropriate.

This event operates under Chatham House Rules so anything shared within the meeting will remain confidential.

So whether your issue is big or small, we look forward to welcoming you to this event so that we can work together to find you a solution.

As is always the case with these events, the value is from the contributions of our attendees. We encourage you to come along with one or two topics and in doing so, help to shape the events calendar for the year ahead.

The event will be held at Foxlease, Lyndhurst, SO43 7DE.

Tickets for this event will close at 11.45am on Wednesday 1 November.
