New Forest Business Partnership works with a wide range of business support and government organisations to ensure that your business is connected.

These organisations provide input to the NFBP Board as well as feeding into our wide ranging events programme. By joining NFBP you will have direct access to this ‘network or networks’.

  • Brand New Forest Brand New Forest is a campaign to back local business and it seeks to connect everybody; local government, local businesses, community groups and individual residents to do just that.
  • Brockenhurst College Brockenhurst is a Beacon College, one of the most successful in the UK and judged to be ‘outstanding’ by Ofsted, with excellent results and first class facilities.
  • Enterprise First Enterprise First offer practical help for those starting a business and developing existing small businesses. Their team of experienced business advisers come from a wide range of business backgrounds and are accredited to a national standard.
  • European Information Service Centre The service was established 20 years ago to assist companies to develop their business in the EU. Part of the European Information Centre (EIC) Network. We now work with 600 partners in over 40 countries to deliver Business and technology opportunities.
  • Federation of Small Business The FSB is the largest independent business organisation in the UK. With more than 650 members in the New Forest District, the FSB represents a broad cross-section of business with wide ranging interests and needs.
  • GOV.UK This site replaces Business Link as the Government’s online resource for businesses. This service delivers a wide range of information, guidance and support for your business.
  • Hampshire County Council Hampshire County Council provide a range of local services including tourism support, trading standards, inward investement and rural business support schemes
  • Health and Safety Executive Britain’s Health and Safety Commission (HSC) and the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) are responsible for the regulation of almost all the risks to health and safety arising from work activity in Britain.
  • HM Revenues and Customs HM Revenues and Customs are responsible for the collection and administration of taxes including corporation tax, income tax and National Insurance contributions.
  • Invest in Southampton A service which covers not only Southampton but also the entire New Forest Area. This service provides a free premises search based on your requirements.
  • Lymington and District Chamber of Commerce and Industry Lymington Chamber exists for its members to provide opportunities for their businesses, through networking and co-promotional activities, and to represent their views to outside bodies.
  • Mentor-net Mentor-net offers business support for small businesses through mentoring across the south of England. It is a confidential business support service provided by the not-for-profit Mentor-net programme and volunteer Business Mentors.
  • New Forest District Council NFDC can provide advice and information on Business Services; Business Contacts; News & Events; Business Start-ups; Sites and Premises; Employment & Training Initiatives; Facts, Figures & Research and Local Workforce and Skills,
  • New Forest Enterprise Centre Constructed in 1991, the New Forest Enterprise Centre was purpose built to house new and growing businesses in high quality offices and workshops, which would enhance employment in the locality.
  • New Forest National Park Authority The New Forest National Park Authority took up its full powers on April 2006, which includes becoming the local planning authority within the National Park area.
  • New Forest RDPE (Leader) Grants for certain types of rural businesses to help them establish and develop
  • New Forest Tourism Association The NFTA was formed in 1989 to work in partnership with NFDC to promote the New Forest as a quality year-round holiday and business destination.
  • Prince's Trust The Prince’s Trust offers support to young people by providing training, loans, grants and support for those looking to start a new business venture.
  • Ringwood Chamber of Trade and Commerce Ringwood Chamber endevours to be an association of traders, manufacturers and professional people to promote plans and schemes to improve and secure the trading and commercial interest of Ringwood.

  • Start Your Own Business Start Your Own Business is a free local guide designed to help small businesses and new business start ups in Hampshire.
  • Tenders Electronic Daily TED provides free access to business opportunities. It is updated five times a week with approximately 1500 public procurement notices from the European Union, the European Economic Area and beyond.
