Over 20 New Forest businesses celebrated their success at the thirteenth annual New Forest Brilliance in Business Awards at Careys Manor Hotel on Thursday 06 December 2018. Eight businesses won awards, presented by Matthew Lawson, Chairman of the New Forest Business Partnership.

Matthew, welcomed guests to the awards and gave an encouraging and positive review of the future for the New Forest economy: “Each of us has a role to play in the economic growth of the New Forest – to make our New Forest the best place to work, to live and to visit. We must fight tirelessly against complacency – we must have the courage to think big and then, together, in partnership, we can achieve!”

The prestigious ‘New Forest Business of the Year’ award was won by Cadnam based The Forest Foot and Health Clinic, who also won the and ‘Outstanding Customer Service’ award.

Hilary said “At Forest Foot and Health we try hard to improve the experience of patients and their carers by focusing on the little things which actually make a huge difference. We take time to really understand their needs from the moment they arrive at our clinic, so that they can get the most out of the care and advice we offer.

“I am so thrilled to win this award on behalf of the whole team.  This helps provide them with the recognition they deserve for their ongoing commitment improving customer service and going that extra mile for our patients.”

Cllr Barry Rickman, Leader of New Forest District Council, said “Every year I am bowled over by the calibre of entries to these awards.  Our local economy is full of innovation and these awards are an important showcase of that”.
