Marketing which is direct, fast, controllable, can be targeted and personalised, the results of which can quickly be assessed. Above all, email marketing is also cheap and relatively straightforward to do yourself. What’s not to like?
This informal talk will set the scene for effective email marketing which is also manageable for small businesses, using one of the many template based cloud email marketing management systems available.
This session will be run by Jane Porter from local marketing consultancy Bartley Marketing which creates and runs email marketing programmes for a number of clients and also owns online hub Lymington.com with its weekly email “What’s On” newsletter which promotes local business. Together with Rob Dewing of Northerwood who builds WordPress websites and knows the ins and outs of many template email editing systems, who will be on hand to discuss technical issues too.
If you don’t already use email marketing, come along and find out how to hit the ground running effectively from the start. If you do already use it, come and enjoy the networking breakfast at Rhinefield House Hotel in the heart of the Forest, and offer your own top tips to the discussion.
One of the principles of NFBP is to encourage local businesses to do business with each other. This includes helping each other to do better business too. If you’d like to contribute in advance to the discussion by submitting some recent examples of your own email marketing, Jane would be pleased to include these within the session. Please send or forward your examples, preferably accompanied by a short synopsis of objectives, strategy and learning, to firstname.lastname@example.org.
The breakfast will be held at NFBP member venue Rhinefield House Hotel with member tickets costing £14 (non members very welcome to attend).
