Business Support Hour 11 October 2023 – Candice Reynolds, HCC: employing young people with SEND

Today Candice Reynolds from SEND Employability at Hampshire County Council joined us to discuss the benefits of employing young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). As well as giving an opportunity for these young people to enter the workplace, employers can benefit from a very committed employee who may build a very special team spirit in your workforce. Hampshire County Council offers extensive support for employers from recruitment assistance to workplace coaching. Financial support is available for much of the costs as well as the extensive professional support from the HCC placement team.
