Employment legislation expert Rayner Jones joined us for a comprehensive and clear summary of the new government’s planned changes to employment legislation. Rayner talked us through the changes and their likely impact on employers large and small. The changes include a right to claim unfair dismissal from day one, the right to switch from a zero hours contract to a regular hours contract, flexible working as the default, and a prohibition on dismissing women for 6 months after the end of their maternity leave.
