An exciting opportunity to support volunteering and the voluntary sector in the New Forest

NFBP Members Community First New Forest supports hundreds of local voluntary and community groups across the New Forest.  One of the ways they support groups is by helping them to recruit priceless volunteers.  Without these volunteers most groups simply would not be able to function.

Every year they hold a volunteer celebration and recognition event, this is to say thank you to the hundreds of volunteers who give up their time week by week and make a real difference in the New Forest. At our event in 2014 the volunteers at amassed an incredible 1,969 years of voluntary service between them.

Community First wanted to give you the opportunity to help support the event.  Their Celebration of Volunteering has a good level of exposure, both in general media and social media.

There are various ways you could support them with sponsorship:

  • £200 would cover the New Forest Volunteer of the Year Award. A representative from your company could be part of the judging panel to decide the winner
  • £400 for printing / promotion – Each volunteer receives a special recognition certificate and we produce a booklet with citation from organisations about their volunteers which they are able to take home. We would include your logo on our certificates and would acknowledge your sponsorship in our booklet
  • £1,000 would sponsor the whole event. In addition to the above mentioned we would ask a representative from your company to come and take part in the event. Sponsorship is widely acknowledged in the event programme on our website, in our press releases, radio interviews and on social media

If you feel that your company can help in any way, they would love to hear from you.  If you require any further information please do not hesitate to contact Sarah Suddrey Volunteer Centre Co-ordinator 01425 482773 or email:

Should you feel that you cannot support us in the above way but would like to make a donation, this would be most welcome.
