Developing the New Forest as a premium brand – Update from event

This morning’s Business Breakfast, Developing the New Forest as a Premium Brand, was held at the lovely Bell Inn in Cadnam. Go New Forest’s Chief Executive, Anthony Climpson, delivered an enthusiastic and engaging presentation and workshop on how we, as a whole can make the New Forest a premium brand.

The Bell Inn’s Marketing Manager, Samantha Deadman, spoke at the beginning of the breakfast to give an insight to the history of the venue and the challenges it faces in order to run and operate successfully. This tied in nicely with the message that Go New Forest were trying to communicate.

Anthony had produced worksheets for delegates to complete in groups with questions that explored how we can make the New Forest a destination for everyone. After the groups had discussed each question they were encouraged to feed back to the rest of the room. This also allowed businesses to effectively network with one another as they shared ideas and their own experiences.

The breakfast finished with delegates being given the opportunity to have a guided tour around the venue by Samantha to see the hotel and the golf course. Thank you to The Bell Inn who were fantastic hosts, very accommodating and created a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
