EAFRD Funding announced for local businesses

Over £1m of funding has been announced for micro and small businesses in rural areas under the EU EAFRD funding scheme. The grants will be delivered under two criteria; firstly for micro and small businesses in rural areas for business development purposes. Secondly to support investment in new or existing visitor attractions. In both cases grants will be awarded between £50,000 up to approximately £140,000 and at up to 40% of total eligible cost.

This grant funding will be delivered through the Enterprise M3 Local Enterprise Partnership and as such will only be eligible to businesses which fall under this geography. A map showing this area can be seen on this map but essentially this excludes Waterside Parishes which fall under the Solent LEP.

For further details of this funding scheme and examples of projects which may be eligible, please see this summary. For information please contact Enterprise M3 contact details for whom can be found here.
