Business Breakfast: Apprentices for New Forest businesses

8 November, 2018 @ 7:30 am - 9:30 am

£20.00 – £30.00

Government has pledged to create 3 million new apprentices by 2020 and as such there is much attention around this subject area at the moment.

This business briefing will address two kew perspectives for New Forest businesses:

  • What Apprenticeships can do for your business – find out more about the opportunities for having an apprentice in your business
  • What your business can do for the provision of local training for apprentices – what does your business require in terms of skills and training for your workforce?

The Levy (or the perception of the Levy) has created lots of uncertainty amongst business about whether this is the appropriate route for them and how they can stand to benefit.

Latest figures show that the New Forest lags behind significantly in terms of apprenticeship uptake meaning that both businesses and potential apprentices are missing out on the opportunities they can bring.

The aim of this business briefing is to outline how and why apprentices can benefit your business. We will answer all of your questions and debunk myths. Our apprenticeship experts from Brockenhurst College and Totton College will help you to find the right programmes and ensure that you choose the right delivery models for your business which in turn will maximise return on any investment.

Bookings for this event will close at 12 noon on Monday 5 November. Please ensure that you reserve your place ahead of this date.
