New Forest Business Support Hour – Wednesday 10 June
10 June @ 3:00 pm - 4:00 pmFree
On Wednesday 10 June, we will discuss business insurance.
The insurance industry has come in for its fair share of criticism in recent weeks. Many businesses are unhappy that the current situation is not covered in their business interruption insurance. With support from the dispute resolution team at NFBP member Eric Robinson Solicitors and Lorrayne Blomfield from the New Forest branch of NFU Mutual, we will discuss our experiences with insurers and try to find a way through current claims and the practical implications of these claims, as well as discussing what might happen to business insurance in the future.
We will discuss whether business interruption insurance will cover losses arising from COVID-19, what to look for in your insurance cover if business interruption is not included in your policy and what to do if your insurance company says you cannot make a claim.
During the Hour, there will be 30 minutes for businesses to share ideas, opportunities or concerns with each other and 30 minutes for the input from our local business experts. There will also be the opportunity to follow up afterwards with NFBP and with the experts.
