The UK has one of the largest marine and maritime sectors in Europe, employing more than 360,000 people and contributing £19 billion gross value added, with the Solent being right at the heart. Many marine and maritime businesses are based here in the New Forest, ranging from shipping, boat building and marine engineering to marine technology and leisure marine.

Our annual networking and support meeting for marine and maritime sector businesses – and others who do business with those businesses – is a great opportunity to tell your story, share your successes, raise your concerns and learn from each other.

This is a joint event with Maritime UK Solent whose Programme Manager Lorna Wagner will update us on latest developments in the maritime sector across the Solent region.
