New Forest Business Support Hour

FreeJoin us for an informal virtual networking meeting! An opportunity to update each other on how our businesses are progressing, to meet new people and to ask each other questions in a relaxed setting.
Today we welcome Detective Inspector Chris White, Head of Cyber & Innovation at the Cyber Resilience Centre for the South East.
Chris left college and started a career in computing with a multi national technology company and then joined the Police in the mid 1990s, focussing on technological roles. Always looking for solutions and keeping up with technology, Chris joined the South East Regional Organised Crime Unit as a Police Cyber Security Advisor and Prevent Sgt, delivering the National Cyber Security Strategy where he has been working with private sector raising the awareness of cyber security, coaching and encouraging positive behaviour change within organisations, assisting those in the midst of cyber incidents and managing the offenders responsible.
Chris will give an oversight into the work of the Cyber Resilience Centre for the South East and current threats for SMEs, supply chain businesses and third sector organisations in the region from cyber crime.
Chris returns to give a more detailed briefing on Cyber Resilience at our Business Briefing on 20 May, which is open for bookings now.
