This week, we welcome David Riley from SVRE to discuss the Social Value and Wellbeing Act, coming into force in September.

Social Value is the extent to which your organisation positively impacts the social, economic and environmental aspects of your community. This is measured by the government when you bid for contracts.

Wellbeing is the government’s new framework for measuring an organisation’s commitment to the wellbeing of their people, and of the wider community, both social and business.

Why bother? Accreditation will enable you to bid for some of the £100 billion of local authority contracts, which the government has specifically allocated for SMEs to level up the business playing field and create robust supply chains.

You do need to book your FREE place by 1500 on the day. You will then receive an email before the meeting starts with the Zoom meeting ID and password to enable you to join the meeting online.
