New Forest Business Support Hour
23 November, 2022 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm
FreeJoin us for our weekly informal networking meeting – an opportunity to update each other on how our businesses are progressing, to meet new people and to ask each other questions in a relaxed setting.
Today we welcome back James Rimmer of Expense Reduction Analysts to discuss how to Adapt and Thrive through Recession.
Falling sales, shrinking profits, spiralling costs, challenges recruiting and interest rates rising. It’s tough out there. The Bank of England are forecasting a UK recession to start in Q1 of 2023 and last up to two years. Some of the symptoms of recession have already started to bite, but history shows those businesses that made the right strategic choices at the start of a recession didn’t merely survive, their earnings climbed throughout the recession and after, they posted rapid growth.
In today’s Business Support Hour, James will explore with us the challenges and opportunities ahead and some of the strategic moves you might want to consider adopting to help your business adapt and thrive through the recession.
Support and advice is on hand with the opportunity to share good practice, experience and expertise with other New Forest businesses. We look forward to welcoming you online!
This is an online Zoom meeting and is free of charge with the sponsorship of New Forest District Council.
You do need to book by 1500 on the day. You will then receive an email before the meeting starts with the Zoom meeting ID and password to enable you to join the meeting online.
