Today we’ll be looking at getting our businesses off to a good start in 2023 with a discussion of Marketing Strategy led by marketing consultant and trainer Mike Essex.

Mike is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and has been working in marketing for over 15 years. He’s helped everything from start-ups, to local attractions, the NHS, and even some of the biggest companies in the UK to do better marketing. With a strong background in digital marketing, strategic consulting, and marketing training, he’s going to share his top tips in our latest talk.

Mike is the founder of Devise Marketing devisemarketing.co.uk, a specialist marketing consultancy that helps companies devise, develop, and deliver better marketing. They devise marketing strategies and plans, develop people through training, and deliver marketing on a daily basis for clients as well.

In Mike’s talk titled “Marketing strategy and budgeting in 20 minutes or less” he’ll walk us through how to quickly develop a marketing strategy and a budget that’s fit for today’s fast moving world. From positioning to messaging, tactics to customer research, he’ll show how planning marketing doesn’t need to take months and months. And, he’ll share his top tips for keeping a lean marketing budget in 2023, so you can ensure your marketing spend isn’t wasted.
