Making Connections – A workshop by NFBP Member Sam Sutton

NFBP Member, Brilliance in Business Award winner and local entrepreneur Sam Sutton is teaming up with NFBP and some associates, bringing you a networking event for forward thinking businesses.  With the theme of making connections, this afternoon event will give you real actionable ideas and techniques to help connect your business to those who matter.    

The desire to be connected is in our nature as human beings. How we share ideasBrilliance in Business Award Winners 2010 and combine our resources, defines human progress and with that our collective identity. Being part of something bigger than oneself is a common theme in both business and mythology alike.  Through 3 short workshops you will discover:

  • How story telling empowers your customers and staff to live out their higher values through your business.
  • A tried and tested template for building engaging stories which people will want to share.
  • How to maximise your use of the internet and connect with the people and businesses which are important to you.
  • Ideas and actionable people management techniques to motivate and empower you and your staff.    

During the workshop and the event itself, there’ll be plenty of time to meet other businesses and make your own connections.  The New Forest is  a great area to be in business, with so many opportunities to work together, getting connected is just the beginning.
