Business Breakfast: New Year, New Business – Tuesday 12 January

New Year is often a time for a new start so if you’ve ever thought that you’d always like to be your own boss, maybe this is the time that you did something about it? Then again, maybe you’ve already begun that journey and have started work towards this already?

Whatever stage you’re at on the start-up journey, this event is designed to give you the gems of knowledge you need to turn the idea into reality.So whether you have a hobby which you want to turn into a business, want to start a part-time enterprise to earn some additional income or have an idea but don’t know what to do next, this event is for you.

The initial workshop will  explore the skills and knowledge required to run a business as well as looking into what it means to be an entrepreneur. The workshop is also an opportunity to explore the concept of what it takes to start up a business and what is required to make it happen.

By the end of the workshop, participants will have a clearer idea of their own unique skills and knowledge including what else would be required to start a business.

For those who attend the breakfast, we will then offer a 4 day training course which will help you to gain knowledge of all the “nuts and bolts” to help you start your business.

The course content includes:

• Understanding the Importance of Business Planning
• Opportunities and Risks within a Business
• Understanding the Importance of Managing Money in a Business
• How to conduct market research to establish the business viability.

All participants will leave the course with a clearer strategy and action plan to make their ideas into reality.
