The Lymington.com Channel – reaching 60,000 New Forest locals and visitors

Bartley Marketing’s Lymington.com Channel is unique in its targeted local reach online, combining a trusted, well established and regularly updated website with social media channels and direct marketing. Our action packed Events Calendar reaches out far and wide, with many media and organisations now linking to it as the most comprehensive guide to What’s On in the New Forest.

Our Stats Page has just been updated to incorporate 2018 results across Website, Weekly What’s On email newsletter, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram

Highlights include:

  • Overall average weekly reach across all media channels 60,000
  • New website visitors up 60% and returning visitors up 54% in 2018 vs 2017, continuing the trends of strong growth in 2017 and 2016
  • The number of people clicking to the website from social media grew by 53.4% and from our direct marketing email grew by 52.5%, in spite of some very challenging changes to social media algorithms and regulations.  This reflects the success of our email newsletter to subscribers and the ongoing popularity of our social media posts.

Annual Business Membership

Join Lymington.com as an annual business member and we’ll start by publishing a launch article on our news page incorporating your main messages – this will almost always be picked up by Google Alerts.

At the same time we’ll set up your Business Web Page in our Directory, including big header image and in as many categories as are relevant.  The description can be as detailed as you wish with links to relevant pages on your own website.  You can also display a gallery of images, social media links and google map.  A video can be embedded into the description field too if you like.  You can log in and update your Business Web Page yourselves at any time during the year.

Annual membership subscription then includes at least one bespoke promotion including compelling caption which we’ll write for you, across all Lymington.com channels including our acclaimed Weekly What’s On newsletter plus our Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages.

All events which you add to the Events Calendar will be promoted in the Diary section of our Weekly What’s On newsletter. Members quickly get into the habit of adding their events for this additional benefit!

Your business will be included as relevant in our hugely popular feature articles. We also regularly boost our own Facebook posts promoting these articles, which extends the reach of one post to an even wider audience.

Once you’re a member we’ll also promote your job vacancies for you – just send us the details.
