New Forest Business Partnership hosted its first Women in Business Event at Chewton Glen on Tuesday 16th April.
It was the first event of its kind for NFBP and was attended by over 35 delegates from a wide range of businesses throughout the New Forest.
The energetic and engaging session was delivered by NFBP Board Member and Business Coach-Speaker Kiki Maurey. Throughout the session, attendees focussed on what motivated them within the workplace and how, with this information they can channel these energies to the benefit of both themselves and their business.
Such has been the success of this event we’d like to run two Women in Business Events per year and we’re looking at early October for our next meeting. Following feedback from delegates, we’ll look to revisit Chewton Glen and will shift the time of meeting slightly earlier in the morning. Please keep an eye on eNewsletters, social media feeds and the NFBP website for further details of dates which we’ll confirm with you in the very near future.
Beyond this, we’re looking at running an event on or close to International Women’s Day on March 24th 2014. We believe there’s scope to broaden this out to incorporate colleges or those who are simply interested in running their own business but don’t know how to go about it. Please share your thoughts on each of the above events via our LinkedIn Group.
Many of those attending joined signed up for NFBP on the morning event, clearly seeing the benefits which membership would bring throughout the year ahead. As members, they will benefit from discounted tickets to all future NFBP events throughout the year.
If you too would like to benefit from such discounts, you can join NFBP online by clicking on the link at the top of this page.
