What does NFBP do?
The New Forest Business Partnership supports all New Forest businesses large and small in all sectors and increases the opportunities for you to grow your business. All businesses within the New Forest are supported by us and your business is a member free of charge. Your business can pay an annual subscription to become a Partner to access more benefits and support our work.
NFBP became a Community Interest Company (CIC) in 2020. This means we are an independent company, delivering business support programmes for the New Forest business community. We have always been a not-for-profit organisation, but as a CIC, we receive funding to support you and your business.
Our Directors are all volunteers from local businesses with a passion for supporting local businesses and helping our local economy grow. Our Advisory Group is an influential voice for local business and brings together business owners with New Forest District Council, Hampshire County Council, Solent Local Enterprise Partnership, Go New Forest, New Forest Marque, New Forest National Park Authority, Hampshire Chamber of Commerce, the Federation of Small Businesses and other partners to ensure a coordinated approach to local business support.
Email us at contact@nfbp.org.uk if you have any business support enquiries. If we cannot help, we will connect you to the source of the right information for your business.
Keep in touch by signing up to our weekly business support email.

Our NFBP Advisory Group met in September 2020 and received presentations on the work of the Southern Policy Centre and from the New Forest National Park Authority on Green Recovery.
At our meetings in November 2020 and January 2021, we discussed support for local businesses during the national lockdown, including our concerns for mental health and wellbeing with personal life impacting on business and business impacting on personal life for local business owners. NFBP is very concerned to give practical support to local business owners and their employees at this challenging time, including making sense of the various grant funding and furlough opportunities. We are also campaigning for "the excluded" - directors of local businesses who have received no support or grant funding.
At our meeting in March 2021, we will have updates from our Partners and a briefing from Make UK on the manufacturing sector as well as a discussion of the skills and talents gap in the New Forest.
