Promoting the New Forest as a Location for Film & TV

The New Forest has already been the backdrop to many productions, doubling for Miami in the soon-to-be released The Infiltrator, Sherwood Forest in Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves and Fawley Power Station doubling as a Moroccan Power Plant for Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation. Television and film productions are constantly looking for new and interesting properties/land to use as film locations – and they will pay to use yours! The filming of a significant production can generate in excess of £40,000 per day for the local economy. With this focus in mind, a partnership with Creative England has been established to promote the destination to the film industry including producers, location scouts and crew.

To launch this new partnership an event has been organised to set out the benefits of offering their premises to local businesses and landowners. The free event will explain the process of making your premises available and the benefits it can bring. Click here for further details
