Selling at Shows – update from event

Balmer Lawn Hotel in Brockenhurst was our location for this mornings workshop.

Following a delicious cooked breakfast, Julia Edkins of JME Associates provided a lively and engaging presentation about selling at shows.

Julia explained that there are many ways in which you can maximise exhibition sales, the key is to pre plan your objectives.

An 8 point plan gave the attendees food for thought which lead to a detailed discussion on the various ways to create a buzz and capture data – a must for any exhibiter.

Julia then ran through some dos and don’ts whilst on a business stand and reminded attendees that following up with all potential leads within 7 working days is extremely important.

Attendees also had the chance to chat to the upcoming New Forest Business Expo organisers.
