During September and October, we held a series of four workshops around the New Forest focussing on Town and Village Centres. These workshops were structured to take in a range of views including those on the planning process, broadband availability and availability of parking.
The results of these events have now been collated and we have a list of issues which featured prominently across the sessions but we now need to decide what we can do next to tackle these barriers to growth.
The measures that can be taken range from the costly and in-depth to the lower cost and easy to implement. Any of these will however involve local businesses working with the District Council, Town/Parish Councils and the Business Partnership so we wish to understand what we can achieve together.
Our hosts (the Brilliance In Business Award Winner for best new business) Oskubox in Lymington will be laying on a traditional Icelandic Spread and the event will follow an open discussion looking to identify measures which can be practically implemented.
