In November each year, NFBP holds its Wicked Issues event which aims to understand the issues impacting local business and, where possible find solutions to them.
Sometimes the solution is identified there and then through another business in the room, other times that issue is fed back into the NFBP events calendar for the coming year, as has been the case in previous topics including access to finance, planning and use of social media.
This morning’s event covered a range of important topics which were discussed in detail in smaller groups on tables. These included business management and strategy, customer record management, (email) marketing and submitting successful tenders.
Everything mentioned at the meeting has been noted and will be fed back to the NFBP Board who are currently in the process of putting together the events calendar for 2017. With approximately 20 events taking place throughout the year, there’s plenty of opportunity to pick up the issues raised at the meeting.
